Over 63,200 QR codes operationalized in Kyrgyzstan

More than 63,200 QR codes have been operationalized in trade and service enterprises as of September 1, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reported.

38,900 QR codes were operationalized at the end of 2023.

The biggest number of QR codes was operationalized in Bishkek – 24,900 codes. The least number was operationalized in Naryn region – 1235 QR codes.

The number of QR codes by the regions:

Batken region – 1630;

Jalal-Abad region – 4719;

Issyk-Kul region – 3205;

Naryn region – 1245;

Osh region – 5678;

Talas region – 1361;

Chui region – 1361

Bishkek – 24984.

Since launch of the project of payments via QR codes some 27.2 million payments for 29 billion soms were made.
