Gymnasts from Kyrgyzstan win 16 medals at Asian Championship in China

Athletes from Kyrgyzstan participated in the Asian Championship of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics in Hong Kong on October 9-13.

The team of Kyrgyz athletes took the 2nd place in the tournament.

On these days, Hong Kong also hosted tournaments on aesthetic group gymnastics and artistic gymnastics with participation of more than 800 gymnasts from China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.

At the 2024 Hong Kong Cup Open Invitation Championships the Kyrgyzstanis won 16 medals, including 5 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals, ranking 2nd.

Among the athletes from Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of a coach Olga Palyutkina are Lyaisan Islamova, Jasmina Varlamova, Aisha Saparova, Adelya Baktybekova, Nuraiym Sagynbayeva and Samira Omarbekova.
