PVS’s office in Tajikistan reduces fees for passport and visa services

Since December 1, the representative office of the "Passport and Visa Service" of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tajikistan has significantly reduced its service fees.

The Migration Service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan (MoLMEP) says the new fee for the services, including checking the entry ban to Russia, is now 153 somonis.  Fingerprinting costs 60 somonis.

Previously, citizens of Tajikistan paid 460 somonis for similar services, including the entry ban check and fingerprinting.

The MoLMEP Migration Service noted that in Russia, fingerprinting for migrants costs 3,000 rubles.

The Russian Federal Agency "Passport and Visa Service" (PVS) opened its representative office in Tajikistan on May 28, 2024.  Its aim is to provide convenient services and save time for Tajik citizens wishing to work in Russia.

Initially, the services were free, but later, tariffs were introduced.
