Kyrgyzstan drops 5 places in Logistics Performance Index – World Bank
Kyrgyzstan ranked in the 128th place in the World Bank’s 2024 Logistics Performance Index (LPI).
The Logistics Performance Index is an analysis tool that measures the country’s average scores on dimensions of customs performance, infrastructure quality, ease of arranging shipments, logistics services quality, consignments tracking and tracing and timeliness of shipments as well as practical data measuring logistics efficiency.
With an LPI index of 2.3, Kyrgyzstan ranked 128th between Burkina Faso and Mauritania. The country has the lowest indicators for customs security and ease of arranging competitively priced shipments.
In 2023, the republic ranked 123rd with the same score (2.3).
The CIS and EAEU countries demonstrate indicators in the range of 2-3 units. Kazakhstan has the highest index, and Kyrgyzstan has the lowest.
