Gross harvesting of potatoes in Kyrgyzstan drops by 7.5% in 2024

The gross yield of potatoes decreased by 7.5% in 2024 in Kyrgyzstan, according to the National Statistical Committee.

1.2 million tons of potatoes were harvested in total.

The biggest drop in potato yield is reported in Issyk-Kul region by 15.1% and in Naryn region by 17.6%.

Potato harvesting grew in Batken, Jalal-Abad and Osh regions compared to 2023.
