March for women’s rights held in Bishkek
A march for women’s rights took place in Bishkek on March 8.
More than 200 participants took part in the action. They went from the old building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Gorky Square.
They demanded freedom for women, fair court decisions, and an end to violence against women.
When the marchers reached the square, they sang a song and shouted several slogans that were written on posters.
The number of participants increased to 300 people.
