SUEZ and UzSuvtaminot signed a Term Sheet for a two-year service and supply contract, paving the way for a long-term Public-Private Partnership in the Surxondaryo region. The agreement covers the districts of Sariyoso, Denov, Shorchi, and Kumqorgon, home to one million residents. It focuses on key improvements such as network enhancements, including leak repairs and extensions, as well as equipment maintenance and customer service development.

Additionally, SUEZ will provide advanced management tools, including GIS and hypervision systems, while also training local water authority teams to strengthen their expertise.

In the field of education, SUEZ has partnered with the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME-NRU) to establish a water university chair.

This initiative aims to enhance collaboration in water management education and research, offering students opportunities for internships and hands-on training within SUEZ projects in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the agreement includes provisions to support applications from Uzbek students seeking to pursue higher education in France.
