Ambassadors of Colombia, Australia, Malaysia, Slovenia, Cambodia, Egypt, and Bangladesh present credentials to Sadyr Japarov
President Sadyr Japarov received credentials from Ambassadors accredited with residence in third countries on September 10, the presidential press service reported.
The credentials were presented by Ambassador of Colombia Héctor Isidro Arenas Neira, Ambassador of Australia John William Gearing, Ambassador of Malaysia Ilham Tua bin Illias, Ambassador of Slovenia Darja Bavdaž Kuret, Ambassador of Cambodia Sok Chea, Ambassador of Egypt Ibtisam Rakha Hassan, and Ambassador of Bangladesh Mohammad Monirul Islam.
The ceremony began with a guard of honor greeting the heads of foreign diplomatic missions, after which the Ambassadors presented their credentials to Sadyr Japarov.
The President noted that the ceremony of presenting credentials is the first international event held at the new Presidential Administration.
“Kyrgyzstan demonstrates stable growth of at least 7% per year. The country’s gross domestic product (GDP) exceeded 1 trillion soms in 2023 for the first time, and economic growth was 8.7% in 2024. Our goal is to reach a GDP of $30 billion by 2030,” the President said.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan attaches importance to the further development of cooperation with the states represented by the heads of diplomatic missions and wished them successful work.
