Tashiyev reprimands GKNB officials in Kadamjay pointing to violations at checkpoints

There are a lot of violations fixed around the checkpoint in Kadamjay district of Batken region, Chairman of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiyev said during the inauguration ceremony in Kadamjay district.

In this regard, he reprimanded heads of GKNB department in Kadamjay district and the Department of Internal Affairs of the district.

Tashiyev said there are violations at the crossing points with the participation of employees of the GKNB and law enforcement officers.

According to him, there is even a scheme organized by traffic police officers.

Thus, Tashiyev turned to the officials and ordered to discuss and solve this problem taking the necessary measures.

Tashiyev on September 18 opened the new building of the GKNB in Kadamjay district and in the village of Burgondu.

He made a statement on fighting corruption, including among law enforcement bodies.

Tashiyev noted that there are still organized criminal groups in the district. He ordered to boost the work against them.

As of September 12, the following checkpoints are operating on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border:

– in Jalal-Abad region – Madaniyat – Road , Baymak – Road, Bek-Abad-Road, Ken-Say-Road;

– in Osh region – Dostuk-Road, Kara-Suu-Road, Kara-Bagysh-Road;

– in Batken region – Kyzyl-Kiya-Road; Kadamjay-Road, Kaitpas-Road, Ak-Kiya-Road, Otukchu-Road; Chechme-Road.
