Revenues of textile, clothing, footwear and leather product producers grew 2.4 times over the last 5 years, according to the National Statistical Committee.

The gross proceeds in the sector grew from 3.5 billion soms in 2019 to 8.6 billion soms in 2023. 

The profit in this sector grew 5 times to 1.1 billion soms over 5 years.

65 companies from 399 enterprises were loss-making.
