Man detained by Bishkek police on suspicion of kidnapping and murder of his stepdaughter

Bishkek police department operatives detained a suspect in kidnapping and murder of a person.

A woman reported to police on Oct 30 that her husband kidnapped her daughter D.P., born in 2007, in a BMW X5.

The operatives established that the suspect was traveling in Issyk-Kul region in a car of a different brand. Together with operatives of the Issyk-Kul police department, the man was detained while attempting to commit suicide.

It was established that the man had murdered his 17-year-old stepdaughter D.P., whose body was found in Chui region.

The criminal case into kidnapping and murder was launched.
