11,441 ARVI and flu cases registered in Kyrgyzstan

11,441 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and 53 cases of flu were registered in Kyrgyzstan from January 20 to January 26, the Ministry of Health reported.

The figures are 2.6% lower than last week. 5% of cases (563 patients) were hospitalized.

There has been a circulation of acute respiratory viral infections since October 2024. 29.9% of all cases are respiratory syncytial virus, 25.2% rhinovirus, 13.2% adenovirus, 12.1% parainfluenza I-IV, and 19.6% other viral infections.
