President Sadyr Japarov arrives on state visit to China

President Sadyr Japarov has arrived in Beijing on a state visit upon invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president’s press service reported.

The president’s plane landed at Shoudu International Airport.

The state flags were flown, the red carpet was rolled out, the guard of honor lined up in the airport.

President Sadyr Japarov was met by Minister of Housing, Urban and Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China Ni Hong and other officials.

On February 5, President Sadyr Japarov will hold talks with President Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China Zhao Leji in Beijing.

During the visit, it is planned to sign a number of important intergovernmental agreements, and adopt a joint declaration of the two countries on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership.

Sadyr Japarov will also take part in the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
