Net inflow of remittances from abroad to Kyrgyzstan amounts to $2.5 billion in 2024

The net inflow of remittances from abroad to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $2.5 billion in 2024, according to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The inflow increased by 18.6%, individuals transferred almost $400 million more than in 2023.

The net inflow increased due to the fact that individuals transferred a smaller amount abroad in 2024 than in 2023. The volume of such transfers decreased by 20.6% to $446 million.
