The Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic announced a repeat competition for the transfer of land plots for the construction of renewable energy facilities (RES), including hydroelectric power plants (HPPs). A total of 21 lots are up for auction, according to the official statement of the fund.
The proposed sites are intended for various renewable energy projects, including small hydroelectric power plants, solar power plants and wind power plants. The total capacity of the facilities varies from 0.32 MW to 30 MW.
The largest number of lots falls on small hydroelectric power stations – 16 projects located in the Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Chui and Issyk-Kul regions, as well as one cascade of small hydroelectric power stations in the Chui region. Three sites are proposed for the construction of wind farms in the Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions, and two sites for solar power plants — in the Osh and Jalal-Abad regions.
The competition will take place on March 12, 2025 at 14:00 in Bishkek, in the building of the Green Energy Fund. Applications for participation are accepted until 18:00 on March 7, 2025. Detailed information about the conditions of the competition and a list of necessary documents are available from the department.
