Amantur Ismailov defeated in quarterfinals of Paris Olympics
Kyrgyz wrestler Amantur Ismailov lost in the quarterfinals at Paris Olympics on August 7.
He competed in men’s 67 kg Greco-Roman wrestling starting from 1/8 finals. In his first match, Ismailov faced Ramaz Zoidze from Georgia and secured an early victory with a score of 12-1.
In the quarterfinals, Ismailov’s opponent was Parviz Nasibov from Ukraine. The match ended with a score of 7-6 in favor of the Ukrainian.
If Nasibov reaches the final, Ismailov will compete in the repechage round for bronze on August 8.
The semifinal matches will begin at 22:15 Bishkek time.
