The Cabinet Chairman and members watched the premiere of the ethnomusical “Raymaly and Begimay” presented by the National Philharmonic.
The musical is based on the work of writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
Raymaly and Begimay, as akyns-singers, embody the ideals of love and art, but their fate demonstrates that even the most sublime emotions can be destroyed by circumstances. This gives the plot additional depth and tragedy, making spectators think about the fragility of human feelings.
