Kyrgyzstan and Burkina Faso consider establishing cooperation
Ambassador Ulukbek Maripov met with Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Saudi Arabia Boukary Savadogo on March 4 as part of his work to promote Kyrgyzstan’s candidacy for the UN electoral bodies.
The sides considered issues of establishing political and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Burkina Faso, as well as organizing visits at the highest and high levels. The potential for cooperation in the field of culture and tourism was also discussed at the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Ambassador Maripov spoke about Kyrgyzstan and the reforms carried out in the country. In order to establish cooperation between the two countries, he proposed organizing the first official visit of Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso to Kyrgyzstan this year.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on organizing bilateral visits, as well as holding joint events aimed at strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
