The fund signed a financing agreement with LLC «Griin Energy» in the amount of 2 million 740 thousand US dollars. The new small hydroelectric power station, located on the Chok Tal River, will have an installed capacity of 3.7 MW.

When commissioned in 2027, the plant is expected to generate approximately 19.2 million kWh of clean electricity annually. This will reduce the load on the existing energy system.

«This project is important not only for increasing the energy capacity of Kyrgyzstan. It will also solve the problem of water loss in the canal supplying nearby villages. Now about 50%, or 0.7 cubic meters of water, is lost due to worn-out infrastructure. The construction of the station will make it possible to direct the entire volume of water to the needs of the population», — noted the Chairman of the Board of the RKFR Artem Novikov.
