A “smart medical cluster” is set to be established in the Yukorichirchik district of Tashkent region in collaboration with South Korea, according to the press service of the Tashkent regional khokimiyat (city administration).
Last week, Zoir Mirzayev, head of the regional administration, met with Hong Ki-Pum, director of Haeahn Consulting & Development, to discuss the project. Hong presented plans for a comprehensive medical cluster designed to meet international standards.
The cluster will feature a state-of-the-art complex aimed at attracting medical tourists. It will include an emergency hospital and a branch of a Korean medical university. Plans also include constructing an international school and a preschool educational institution within the cluster.
Adjacent to the medical facilities, the project will encompass a business center, shopping mall, hotel, and apartment buildings, creating a dynamic hub for residents and visitors.
During the meeting, additional proposals were reviewed, and the khokimiyat pledged full support for the South Korean side in implementing the joint initiatives.
Haeahn Consulting & Development (HC&D) is a prominent member of the South Korean Haeahn Architecture group, known for projects such as the Korea National Aviation Museum and the G-Tower in Incheon.
