Kazakh Invest and Chinese company Xinjiang Hengyuan Investment Management have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 23 to develop a major Kazakhstan-China trade and industrial park in Astana. The project is set to be constructed on a 50-hectare site.
Xinjiang Hengyuan Investment Management based in Baiyang, China brings considerable expertise in the construction and management of industrial parks. The company’s extensive experience in developing large-scale trade and industrial zones positions it well for this project in Astana.

The creation of the Kazakhstan-China Trade and Industrial Park in Astana will not only accelerate the development of key sectors of our economy but also create numerous new jobs, which will have a positive effect on the socio-economic development of the country. The planned trade and industrial park is expected to drive growth in several key sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy, including logistics, warehousing, processing, trade, commercial services and real estate management. The initiative will also serve as a catalyst for attracting Chinese trade and manufacturing companies to Kazakhstan.
