On December 18, a ceremony was held to sign a loan agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kuwait Fund for the Development of the Arab Economy in the amount of 16.7 million US dollars. NIAT «Khovar» was informed about this by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Fayziddin Kakhhorzoda and the Director General of the Kuwait Fund for the Development of the Arab Economy Walid Shimlon Al-Bahar.

It should be noted that the amount of funding provided by the fund is $100 million, which is allocated in 6 stages under separate agreements in the amount of $16.7 million.

The goal of the project is to promote the development of the energy industry and the implementation of new economic and social projects in the Republic of Tajikistan.
