Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda has inspected several large construction projects in the Khatlon province, including new hotels, schools, and cultural institutions.  The prime minister has emphasized the importance of accelerating regional development and implementing projects aimed at improving infrastructure, Khatlon governor’s office said on April 8.

In the Danghara district, Qohir Rasoulzoda visited two hotel complexes—one with 624 rooms, which will be completed in 2026, and the other one, under construction by local entrepreneurs, with 250 rooms.

A new educational institution was also officially opened in the village of Tutu in the Muminobod district—a school for 240 students, built with the support of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). The cost of the building was nearly 7 million somonis.

In the village of Rakhshonzamin, the construction of a school for 160 students is ongoing.  The prime minister instructed that the construction quality be ensured and that the work be completed on time.

Qohir Rasoulzoda also visited the construction site of the National Theater in the Danghara district, which will accommodate 1,700 spectators, as well as healthcare and preschool education facilities.

In his address to the region's residents and builders, the prime minister stressed that active participation from all sectors and entrepreneurs in achieving the set goals is crucial for the accelerated socio-economic development of the country.
