Tajik racer Bezhan Abdulloyev wins another race in China

A 19-year-old racer from Dushanbe, Bezhan Abdulloyev, kicked off his new season in the competition with a victory.  At the FIA China (Racing) Karting Championship, held at the track in Dongguan, he confidently won the race, beating his closest competitor by 0.327 seconds.

The GP MAX class saw the participation of 20 young drivers. Bezhan Abdulloyev took first place both in the qualification and the final race.

In the 6-minute qualification session, he set the best lap time — 50.468 seconds.  His average lap time was also impressive, at 51.596 seconds, which secured him the pole position.

In the final race of 8 laps, Abdulloyev again outpaced his competitors. He finished first with a total time of 6:47.960, ahead of the closest competitor, Chinese driver Wang Zijiang, by 0.327 seconds.

Bezhan's best lap in the final was 49.668 seconds, one of the fastest times of the race.

"Every time I go out on the racetrack, I think about my country.  I represent not only myself and my team but all of Tajikistan.  This victory is for my Tajikistan, for everyone who believes in me and supports me. I am proud to raise the flag of our republic in international competitions. It gives me strength and inspires me for new achievements," he told Asia-Plus in an interview through Telegram after the race.

The next stage of the championship will take place in a month. This competition is an important milestone on the way to higher-class series such as Formula 3, Formula 2, and, in the future, Formula 1.

Earlier, Bezhan stated that his main dream is to participate and win in Formula 1 races.
