Condolences expressed to the people of Iran in Dushanbe

A condolence book was opened at the Embassy of Iran in Dushanbe for the victims of the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port, which is one of the two parts in the port of Bandar Abbas, southern Hormozgan province of Iran.  This incident resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Iranian citizens.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, ambassadors from various countries, and representatives from the country's science and culture sectors expressed their condolences.

Condolences expressed to the people of Iran in Dushanbe

In his message, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan extended condolences to the government and people of Iran, especially to the families and loved ones of the victims, wishing them patience, and to the survivors of the explosion, a swift and full recovery.

Additionally, representatives from science and culture visited the Iranian Embassy to convey their condolences.

Among them were the Chairman of the Tajikistan-Iran Friendship Association Karomatullo Olimov, the Chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Tajikistan Safar Haqdod, as well as representatives from the Tajik National Academy of Sciences and journalists.

Condolences expressed to the people of Iran in Dushanbe

Ambassadors of various countries, including Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Belarus, India, Japan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Palestine, also expressed their condolences to the people of Iran and the families of the deceased.

The huge blast that happened at the Shahid Rajaee Port on April 26 claimed 70 lives and injured more than 1,200 people.

The financial damage from the incident has not yet been calculated.

The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolence to the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.
