The Chinese company Xinjiang Qianyuan Kunyu Construction Engineering plans to build mini-hydroelectric power plants in Uzbekistan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
Deputy Head of the Ministry Ilzat Kasymov discussed with the General Director of Xinjiang Qianyuan Kunyu Construction Engineering Hou Hui technical details and further steps for the construction of cascades of small hydroelectric power stations on waterways in the regions of the country.
As a result of the meeting, the parties signed an investment agreement to implement a project for the construction of nine mini-hydroelectric power stations on the Karadarya River in the Andijan region.
