Artificial rock triggering works scheduled for October 14-18 in Boom Gorge

The artificial rock triggering works will be conducted in Boom Gorge on October 14-18, the Kyrgyz Temir Jolu state railroad company said.

The works will be carried out on 128th km of the Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart road.

The works are to take place from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with partial closure of traffic.

During the road clearance, traffic will be directed to one lane. If the number of vehicles exceeds 30-40, the rockfall mitigation work will be paused to allow the passage of vehicles.
