47 infants under the age of one year died in Issyk-Kul region in six months

47 infants under the age of one died in Issyk-Kul region in the first half of 2024.

These figures were presented on July 26 at a board meeting of the governor’s office. 

During this period, there were 2 cases of maternal mortality in the region. Compared to the same period last year, Issyk-Kul district had 3 more cases, and the city of Balykchy had 2 more cases.

In the first half of the year, there were 3,508 births in Issyk-Kul, 63 fewer than in the same period last year.
