Cabinet Minister Japarov okays addition to agreement with EU on Central Asia Drug Action Programme

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 5, 2024 has approved a draft addition to the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union on the Central Asia Drug Action Programme (CADAP-7), which was signed on December 21, 2020.

The Minister of Interior of Kyrgyzstan is authorized to sign the addition on behalf of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The programme is aimed at developing a comprehensive, balanced and evidence-based drug policy, taking into account the best practices, to increase access to quality interventions for drug demand reduction.
