Exhibition dedicated to results of expedition of Pyotr Semyonov-Tyan-Shansky opens in Bishkek

An exhibition dedicated to the results of the comprehensive scientific and research expedition conducted on the main routes of Pyotr Semyonov-Tyan-Shansky has opened at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin in Bishkek.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 200th birthday of the researcher, the university reports.

A program of the first day was concluded by signing of an agreement on cooperation between the museum-estate of P.P. Semyonov-Tyan-Shansky and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University ahead of the 200th birthday of the scientist, which will be celebrated in 2027.
