Rehabilitation center for children with disabilities kicks off in Toguz-Toro district

Construction of a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities started in Toguz-Toro district of Jalal-Abad region.

According to head of the district Manas Murataliyev, there was no rehabilitation center for children in the district before.

Parents of children with disabilities jointly carried out repair works in one of rooms in the building.

There were classes for children, including physical exercises, and specialists were invited. In order to open the rehabilitation center, meetings were held with entrepreneurs of the district, compatriots living abroad, and residents of other regions of the country.

The district municipality allocated a land plot for construction of the center, and the project was prepared. Construction cost 14 million 220 thousand soms. The project was completed. The capsule laying ceremony was attended by leaders of the municipality, institutions and organizations and locals. After construction of the building, a marathon is planned to be held in order to purchase the necessary furniture and equipment.

The center will be transferred to the balance of Kargalyk rural municipality. The funds for communal expenses will be allocated from the local budget. There are 249 children with disabilities in Toguz-Toro district.
