President Japarov meets President Rahmon upon his arrival in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit on March 12, the Presidential Administration reported.

President Sadyr Japarov met President Rahmon upon arrival at Manas Airport.

The flags of the two countries were flown, the red carpet was rolled out, the national yurt was installed and the guard of honor lined up. Girls in national costumes greeted Emomali Rahmon with flowers.

The heads of state watched a concert of Kyrgyz artists, who performed Kyrgyz and Tajik musical pieces.

The leaders will discuss a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues and their prospects on March 13. Several bilateral documents will be signed.
